Test and Measurement

The Test and Measurement team are called upon to find solutions for measuring a wide range of parameters. 

ANV Measurement Systems’ core products are for the measurement of sound and vibration. If you already have a multi-channel system and just require microphone sets and/or accelerometers you will find that the Rion microphone range offers an unparalleled ratio of quality to price and Rion has a wide range of high quality accelerometers which covers a broad range of requirements and operating conditions. 

And, of course, if you measure sound and/or vibration you need appropriate calibrators such as the Norsonic Nor1255, Norsonic Nor1256, Rion NC-75 or Rion NC-72B.

If you just need to easily measure sound look at the Rion NL-53 and Norsonic Nor103. If you need a sound level meter that can do almost anything look at the Norsonic Nor145. 

We have some really specialist ways to measure sound such as the Norsonic Nor848B Acoustic Camera, Norsonic Nor278 Reference Sound Source or the Norsonic Nor1290 Sound Intensity Probe kit. 

If the test and measurement team need to demonstrate compliance with noise standards or specifications the Norsonic Nor850 is designed to do this efficiently to Class 1 standards.

Vibration measurements can be used both to monitor machinery health and, for rotating machinery in particular, quality control. The Rion VA-12 offers really powerful features for machinery health and quality control whilst being really easy to use and portable. The Rion VM-82A and VM-63C are simpler devices that can also be used for these applications. 

Rion specialise in portable, battery powered data collection devices. The Rion DA-21 is a 4 channel (plus taco input) data recorder for sound and/or vibration. 

If you need to monitor and evaluate vibration wirelessly the RioNote may be the solution you are looking for.

ANV Measurement Systems’ product range is not limited to sound and vibration. 

Viscosity is an important parameter for many products. The Rion VT-06 is a portable device that gives immediate viscosity testing results. 

The Rion VM-230A/240A used sound to measure volume. Although the most widespread use of this system is to measure the capacity of engine cylinders using sound to measure irregularly-shaped objects, or objects which can’t be touched, offers an innovative solution for some difficult measurement problems.

If you need to measure the airflow resistance of materials, the Norsonic Nor1517A offers a convenient and cost-effective solution.
