ANV Measurement Systems supply software to support Rion and Norsonic instrumentation and for live-to-web and remote environmental monitoring (please go to the Live-to-Web and Remote section of the website for more information about these products).Â
Rion instruments are well-known for storing measurement data as csv text files onto removable memory cards, enabling customers to review and analyse data using spreadsheets (csv text files import directly into all commonly used spreadsheet programs) without having to install specialist software.
However Rion’s AS-60 software can really streamline the processes of getting the data onto your system, reviewing the data (and any asociated audio) and putting it into a format which you can easily import into your reports. Rion noise data and wav files are easily imported into Rion AS-60 just by dragging the file icons onto the Rion AS-60 icon on your computer’s desktop. Up to 8 sets of measurement data can be imported simultaneously which can then be synchronised making the review of data and audio from multiple measurement positions really quick and simple. Audio files appear as icons above the noise level graphs and they can be replayed with a single click.
Rion AS-70 is Rion’s wav file analysis software. Wav files imported into AS-70 (which also supports drag and drop) can be analysed against all the major noise and vibrations indices as well as being subjected to third octave or FFT analysis. Tonal analysis, in accordance with the Joint Nordic 2 method and hence BS 4142, can also be conducted in Rion AS-70.Â
ANV Measurement Systems have developed some software tools for analysis the data from Rion instruments including the VS-60 Data Sorter for the VM-56 and the RT Transform for data third octave/octave data for the NL-53.
Norsonic users value the comprehensive software environment supporting their instruments. Nor1051 NorConnect, for the Nor145 and Nor150 sound level meters, allows users to drag and drop their data into this measurement suite and data management program which can be used to create freely defined measurement reports in Excel. Nor1020 NorXfer performs a similar function for the Nor140 sound level meter.
Nor1026 NorReview is a powerful program for reviewing, managing and presenting environmental sound/noise data and audio recordings. It can be used to analyse and present results from one or many sets of measurements from Norsonic Sound Level Meters.Â
The PC program NorVirtual can control and emulate the display of the Nor140, Nor145 and Nor150 sound level meters. The NorVirtual App for Android and Apple offer the same functionality for the Nor140 and Nor150 from a smartphone.Â
Nor850 Reporting Software is a powerful, productivity-boosting PC programme with modules for building acoustics, sound power and sound intensity.
