ANV Measurement Systems have a long relationship with many of the UK companies involved in noise from renewable energy facilities dating back to our dominant position in providing instrumentation for windfarm noise assessments. 

Our market leading position came as a result of Rion’s low powered and reliable logging sound level meters and outdoor windshields (first the WS-03 and the WS-15) which gained widespread acceptance in the industry. The efforts of loyal customers in establishing this position through many battles at public inquiries contributed greatly to our success.

Long-term measurement systems, with Rion NL-53s and Rion NL-52s are still used today to establish baseline noise levels for a range of renewable energy-related projects. 

We also have systems suitable for compliance monitoring, either live-to-web or long-term unattended systems, collecting all the data and audio necessary to assess both the level and character of the noise. Our kit is capable of simultaneously capturing 10 minute LAeq/L90 data, 100 msec third octave Leq data and recording 2 minutes of audio every 10 minutes for example.
