ANV Measurement Systems have a unique lineup of instruments for Quality Control.Â
Pass/fail vibration testing is a rapid way of checking whether machinery has been manufactured correctly. Perfect for pumps, motors and other rotating machinery, simply attach the accelerometer to a test point and compare the sample machine’s vibration spectrum against the reference spectrum to check that the operational vibration spectrum is normal.
The Rion VA-12 can be easily used to check vibration levels against reference spectra which can be in terms of acceleration, velocity or displacement. The VA-12 is supplied with a really practical, separate accelerometer with a magnetic mount on a coiled lead. This portable instrument, with its bright display, is well-designed for industrial use. Perfect for pumps, motors and other rotating machinery, simply attach the accelerometer to a test point and compare the sample machine’s vibration spectrum against the reference spectrum to check that the operational vibration spectrum is normal.
If you just want to check overall vibration levels with a really simple and portable industrial vibration meter, the Rion VM-82 has a separate accelerometer with a magnetic attachment while the VM-63C is an all-in-one pocketable vibration meter – the user simply holds the tip of the integral accelerometer probe against the vibrating object to assessed.Â
The Pass/Fail Evaluation app for the Rion’s tablet-form multi-channel analyser, RioNote, allows the sophisticated setting of pass/fail vibration (or noise) criteria. The RioNote can be integrated into a Production Line Control or Inspection system via ethernet.Â
Vibration and noise are not the only parameters that can be checked by ANV Measurement Systems’ lineup.
Rion’s unique VM-230A/240A Acoustical Engine Capacity Tester has revolutionised the measurement of cylinder capacity. The system uses sound to accurately determine cylinder volume rapidly replacing the messy and slow burette method. The perfect solution for testing sample engines.Â
The Rion VM-230A/240A can actually be used sound to measure volume more generally. Although the most widespread use of this system is to measure the capacity of engine cylinders, using sound to measure irregularly-shaped objects, or objects which can’t be touched, offers an innovative solution for some difficult measurement problems.Â
Viscosity is an important parameter for many products. The Rion VT-06 is a portable device that gives immediate viscosity testing results.
If you need to measure and check the airflow resistance of materials, the Norsonic Nor1517A offers a convenient and cost-effective solution.
If you’re not quite sure what you need, don’t hesitate to call. There are always measurement professionals available during normal office hours to discuss your requirements.Â
If you already have sound and vibration instrumentation ANV Measurement Systems UKAS Laboratory (0653) calibrates all major manufacturers’ instrumentation with a standard 5 day turnround.
