Lufft WS600 Weather Sensor
The Lufft WS600 weather sensor measures windspeed and direction, precipitation, temperature, pressure and relative humidity.
ANV Measurement Systems developed weather monitoring systems in response to the BS 4142 requirement to measure weather parameters during surveys and because weather monitoring is helpful when measuring particulate (dust) levels.
This has resulted in two products. A self standing weather station that can be left out logging data during a measurement exercise and LiveMet – live to web weather data as part of LivEnviro.
LiveMet has user-selectable alarms (e.g. when the windspeed exceeds a certain value or when the wind is from a direction between two user-selectable compass points. The potential applications for LiveMet are therefore widespread – controlling the use of tower cranes or warning of likely odour events.
