Product Description

Thousands of Rion VM-63 meters have been sold around the world because they are perfect, conveniently pocketable and reliable vibration meters for quickly testing product vibration levels as part of a quality control or preventive maintenance process.

The VM-63C slips into your pocket so you can carry it with you for spot checks. It measures acceleration (in two selectable frequency ranges) or velocity or displacement so you can choose the parameter which best suits a specific product or piece of machinery and leave the meter in that mode.

You can use the flexibility of the set-up on the VM-63C to design a single test so that all an operative has to do is report one number to be able to evaluate whether the vibration level of a piece of machinery is within an acceptable range. A more sophisticated test could require the operator to change settings but this is simple to do and the settings are shown clearly on the instrument’s display.

The operator simply applies the sensor to the machine with some light pressure, presses the ‘Meas’ button and the measured vibration level is displayed within a couple of seconds.
