Rion NL-52 Sound Level Meter

The Rion NL-52 has been hugely successful around the world, especially for environmental noise. The NL-52 has many clever design features which combine to make it the meter that thousands turn to when they need to quickly and easily measure noise, but the NL-52’s intuitive ease of use is undoubtedly a major factor.

The technological achievement of providing a combination of excellent colour display, a single 130 dB dynamic range and extremely low power should not be underestimated.

The NL-52 is widely used for long-term noise measurements with ANV’s Standard and Enhanced Longterm Kits together with Rion’s excellent WS-15 outdoor microphone protection and as part of ANV’s Live Leq live-to-web noise monitoring system.

There are octave/third octave, wav file recording, FFT and reverberation time options available. The Rion NL-42 Class 2 version is functionally identical to the NL-52. The Rion NL-62 is the extended low frequency version of the NL-52.
