  • Sound Leakage

Product Description

A really practical Acoustic Camera with a modular design that can be configured to suit a range of applications.

The usefulness of acoustic cameras for environmental noise and the identification of industrial noise sources has always been limited by the physical size of the array required to be able to identify fairly low frequency noise sources. Combining 3 hextiles in the low frequency mode enables the location of sound sources with frequencies down to 120 Hz with a portable and practical solution that weighs around 10 kg (excluding the Macbook).

The single tile setup works down to 410 Hz which should be sufficient for most leak detection and automotive sound source identification work. Operates down to 120 Hz in low frequency multi-tile configuration.

Acoustically “zoom in” to hear and measure from virtual microphone positions achieved via beamforming technology.

The user interface is really clear and intuitive. You can be up and running in minutes.

The systems are supplied complete with a Macbook, software, a tripod and all the connections required to make the system work.
