The powerful Nor145 platform is designed to tackle any measurement that building acoustics and/or environmental acoustics professionals are likely to encounter. Measurement set-ups can be stored and accessed rapidly via the instrument’s large, colour, touch-screen display. Norsonic designed the Nor145 to be the best buildng acoustics analayser and/or the best environmental acoustics analyser depending on which options you choose to install.
Wireless communication with the Nor282 Amplifer/Sound Source puts the Nor145 at the heart of the quickest, slickest integrated building acoustics package with the Nor283 Dodecahedron Speaker and the market-leading Nor277 Tapping Machine.
The Nor145 can also be a comprehensive Environmental Acoustics analyser. With no practical limit to the size of SD card that can be used, the Nor145’s powerful measurement and audio recording features can be used without fear of running out of memory capacity.
The Nor145 can be supplied with a 4G modem making it an integrated live-to-web monitor when used with NorCloud and the instrument also supports remote calibration check.
There are some fantastic options available for the Norsonic Nor145 platform. Installing the FFT and octave/third octave options allows you to view both (fractional) octave and narrow band spectra simultaneously. The STIPA option uses the instrument’s signal generator to complete the required measurement sequence in 21 seconds. Low frequency noise can be measured as standard (the Nor145 standard third octave option extends down to the 0.4Hz band) and you can add an ultrasound option to extend the upper frequency range from 20kHz to 40kHz (a quarter inch mic is recommended to measure the higher frequencies more accurately).
The Nor145 can be operated from a mobile phone or tablet using the NorVirtual app supplied with the meter.
