Calibration Overview

ANV Measurement Systems (UKAS Laboratory 0653) have been providing Calibration Services since 2001 and offer:

  • UKAS accredited and traceable calibration for acoustic instrumentation
  • Traceable calibration for vibration instrumentation.

 

Calibration of Dust Monitors and Weather Systems is carried out by third parties.

UKAS Accredited Calibration for All Major Manufacturers’ Sound/Noise Instrumentation

ANV Measurement Systems (UKAS Laboratory 0653) provides UKAS accredited and traceable calibration for Rion, Norsonic and all other major manufacturers’ sound/noise instrumentation.

5 Day Standard Turnaround

ANV Measurement Systems usually succeed in achieving our aim to complete calibrations within 5 working days of receipt of the instrumentation.

Free Extended Warranty for Rion & Norsonic Instrumentation

Send your new Rion or Norsonic instruments that you have purchased from ANV Measurement Systems to our laboratory (at least once every 12 months for Calibrators and at least once every 24 months for Sound Level Meters/Analysers and Vibration Meters) and we will extend the warranty on these instruments to a maximum of 6 years.

Reduced Hire Rates During Calibration

If you really can’t afford to be without your kit for even a few days whilst it is calibrated (or if more lengthy repairs are required) we will provide hire kit at a 30% discount (subject to availability).

Traceable Calibration

Confidentiality: Unless otherwise agreed, any information which is gained through the calibration process shall remain confidential between ourselves and our customers. When the Calibration Laboratory states conformance to a testing standard, it shall use guidance within document: UKAS Lab 48 (Decision Rules and Statements of Conformity). The acceptance limits, and application of measurement uncertainties, will be as defined in the relevant standard applicable to the test (as BS7580 makes no mention of uncertainties, the decision rule is further explained on the calibration certificate).
