Appliance Noise Testing

Norsonic have developed an integrated, professional solution for Appliance Noise Testing. 

The Nor850 Measurement System is a multi-channel acoustic analyser. The system can be based on channels in an Nor850-MF1 rack and/or multiple Nor140 or Nor145 sound level meters. Both rack-mounted channels and stand-alone sound level meters can be used in the same system. The system supports USB, LAN and WLAN connection. 

The BS EN 61672 Class 1 performance of each channel and be verified by independent calibration laboratories to ensure traceability to national standards.

The basic Sound Power application package includes all features required for making sound power test in accordance with the various Standards in the ISO 3740 series. 

The extended Sound Power application package contains required features for making more special tests such as dual-chamber testing of heat-pumps, dynamic testing of earth moving machinery, and similar.

The entire test procedure can be controlled by a user defined Scheduler for easy test repetitions.
