ANV Measurement Systems were established in 2001 with the initial aim of becoming a major player in the UK acoustics market principally based upon the sales and hire of Rion sound and vibration products, fully backed by a calibration service and excellent technical support. The reliability and ease of use of the Rion Products, and ANV Measurement Systems’ practical solutions such as long-term noise monitoring kits, and great reputation for customer service, soon established the Company as a leading player.
Further innovations followed, particularly remote and live-to-web monitoring. With particulate/dust monitors from TSI and weather stations from Lufft, ANV’s LivEnviro system is a market-leading and widely-used Live-to-Web system for monitoring Noise, Vibration, Dust and Weather.
In 2022 Rion announced the purchase of shares in Norsonic. Under these arrangements Norsonic became a subsidiary company of Rion.
ANV Measurement Systems were able to add Norsonic sound and vibration instruments to their lineup in 2024. This exciting development added Norsonic’s unbeatable integrated Building Acoustics solutions and innovative products, designed to tackle even the most complex noise issues easily, to ANV’s range.
Our customers, mostly sound and vibration and environmental professionals, tell us they keep coming back to ANV because of our exceptional customer service.
But, of course, customer service on its own is not a sufficient reason to do business with ANV Measurement Systems. ANV Measurement Systems supply the products and services that you need to do your job accurately, quickly and easily.
You can purchase or hire the very best in sound, vibration, dust/particulate and weather instrumentation. ANV Measurement Systems also provide really practical solutions for long-term, live-to-web, and remote monitoring together with off-grid systems to power them.
Our in-house UKAS accredited laboratory (0653) offers sound and vibration calibration for all major manufacturers’ kit with a 5 day turnaround.
ANV Measurement Systems supply top quality instruments for professional use at realistic prices. Customer support is top priority at ANV and, with several experienced acoustics and environmental professionals, you can expect expert advice before, during and after purchasing instrumentation.
With our UKAS accredited laboratory (0653), and our experienced staff carrying out service and repair work on site, you can rest assured that your instrumentation will be supported properly.
Our focus is on supplying, and properly supporting, top quality instrumentation which will help you make your measurements accurately, reliably and quickly. Many of our customers have had years of reliable service from instrumentation supplied by ANV Measurement Systems.
ANV Measurement Systems’ hire service is trusted throughout the acoustics and environmental monitoring industries. Consultants, in particular, rely on ANV’s excellent hire instrumentation and customer service.
ANV Measurement Systems have the biggest sound and vibration hire fleet in the UK for environmental and building acoustics. We are rarely in a position where we have to let a hire customer down.
ANV Measurement Systems have rental MCERTS dust monitors and logging weather stations. Live-to-web monitoring systems for noise, vibration dust and weather are available on ANV’s hire fleet.
Calibration has been an integral part of ANV Measurement Systems since 2001. One of the founding and continuing principles of ANV Measurement Systems is that if you supply instrumentation, you should be able to calibrate it.
Since 2009 we have been offering calibration for all major manufacturers’ noise and vibration meters calibration (with UKAS accreditation for acoustic calibration – Laboratory 0653).
We think we carry out more sound and vibration calibrations than any other UK lab. Excellent, expert service and a 5 day turnround are the factors which have led to our lab’s continued success.
ANV Measurement Systems have been the sole UK Distributors for Rion Sound and Vibration since 2001 and are also Rion Distributors for the Republic of Ireland. Rion develop and manufacture exceptionally high-quality instruments in Japan. Rion instruments provide the core sound and vibration measurement functions and data reliably, quickly and easily.
Rion were established in 1944 to develop commercial products based on the research carried out at the Kobayashi Institute in Tokyo, Japan. With around 800 employees, Rion are one of the largest sound monitoring equipment and vibration instrument manufacturers in the world, and one of the very few that manufacture their own top quality measurement microphones.
Rion’s size and commitment to quality enables them to produce instruments that are exceptionally intuitive and easy to use, and incredibly reliable, at a realistic price.
ANV became UK Distributors for Norsonic in 2024. Norsonic develop and manufacture innovative, high-quality instruments in Norway. Norsonic’s innovative, feature-rich instruments, provide advanced and core acoustic measurement functions with comprehensive data capture.
Norsonic were established in 1967 and produced their first building acoustics analyser in the early 1970s. Norsonic’s integrated solutions for building acoustics, including meters showing full test results, sound sources and tapping machines, have led the market for decades.
Norsonic’s products are application and regulation led. Their focus is on innovation which is driven by close co-operation with their customers and a commitment to spend a minimum of 20% of their turnover on research and development. The outcome of this policy can be seen from the frequent introduction of new features, in the form of frequent new products and firmware updates for existing instruments.
ANV Measurement Systems have been partners with TSI, for particulate (dust) monitoring, since the start of 2018.
TSI were established in 1961 by alumni of Minnesota University. TSI have more than 800 employees around the world. Most importantly, their European Service Centre is in the UK (High Wycombe).
