ANV Measurement Systems supply some very specific multi-channel solutions rather than generic multi-channel systems.Â
The Norsonic Nor850 system is uniquely suited to acoustic testing and certification for sound power of products and building acoustics. Each channel is a fully-featured sound level meter and the individual channels can be in the form of a rack-mounted channel in a Nor850MF1 rack or a Norsonic Nor 140, Nor 145 or Nor 150 sound level meter. The channels can be calibrated to BS EN 61672-3 to provide full traceability to national standards. The Norsonic Nor850 system allows you to control the whole measurement process, including devices such as rotating microphone booms and tapping machines, from a PC. The Nor850 software can streamline and automate acoustic measurement processes for the ultimate in acoustic testing efficiency.
Rion have some unique portable multi-channel solutions. The RioNote is a unique, programmable (Android), tablet-form multi-channel noise and vibration analyser which can be connected wirelessly to sensors/sensor amplifiers. The analyser and the sensor/sensor amplfiers are independently battery powered. This can be used to make measurements simultaneous inside and outside a room, building, container or vehicle for example. There are a range of ready-made apps available for the RioNote such as FFT analysis, sound level meter functionality, third octave analysis, vibration meter functionality, order tracking and pass/fail analysis. Users can also develop their own Android apps, with the support of Rion, tailored to their own way of working.
The Rion DA-21 is a portable, battery-powered 4 channel (plus taco input) data recorder that can be used to collect the data from ICP microphones and/or accelerometers. The data is stored as industry-standard calibrated wav files. There is no easier and more portable way to capture sound or vibration data on the move.
Rion offer a great solution for a permanent, wired, multi-channel vibration and/or sound measurement system which connects to a normal PC via LAN or USB. The Rion UV-22 can be used to control up to 16 Rion UV-15 vibration or Rion UN-14 sound channels. The system is controlled by a simple programme on the PC so, when the time arises to change computer, you can still use the Rion UV-22/UV-15/UN-14 system and just re-install the lightweight software on the new machine. The system is totally modular so the channel count can be varied to suit your application.
If you already have a multichannel system and need sensors you will find Rion’s microphone sets offer an unparalleled price to quality ratio and Rion’s accelerometers cover a wide range of applications and environmental conditions.
If you already have sound and vibration instrumentation ANV Measurement Systems UKAS Laboratory (0653) calibrates microphones, microphone sets accelerometers and all major manufacturers’ sound and vibration instrumentation with a standard 5 day turnround.
