RioNote

RioNote Tablet-Form Programmable (Android) Multi-Channel Analyser

The RioNote is a Rion-manufactured tablet-form multi-channel measurement platform. The basic unit is a 2 or 4 channel noise and vibration analyser. However, the sensors connect to a multichannel (2 or 4 channel) amplifier which can be:

  • housed within the tablet; or
  • connected via a wired connection to the tablet; or
  • connected wirelessly to the tablet (up to 70 metres) - (option available January 2016).

The RioNote can communicate with up to 4 amplifiers and therefore supports up to 16 channels.

Rion see the key features of the RioNote being:

  • ease of use (it really is much easier to use than traditional multichannel systems);
  • flexibility; and
  • wireless connection between the sensor amplifers and the table.

The RioNote is based upon an Android platform enabling the development of applications to suit customers' exact requirements. This is your chance to have a sound and vibration analyser which exactly suits the way you work.

Rion provide the precision measurement tools (currently waveform recording, octave/third ocatve analysis and FFT) which can then be incorporated in custom-built applications developed though the Alliance System under which developers and customers can be given the Developers' Toolbox to realise even unique measurement requirements.
